Wir besuchten heute die Ruinenstadt Teotihuacan, die vor über 2000 Jahren von den Vorfahren der Azteken gebaut wurde.
Zu ihrer Glanzzeit war Teotihuacán mit ca. 300.000 Menschen vermutlich die größte Ansiedlung Amerikas. Heute zeugen davon (nur) noch die zwei riesige Pyramiden, ein riesiges Ruinengelände und die Calzada de los Muertos (Straße der Toten).
Da wir den Ausflug ohne eine Tour organisierten waren wir anfangs etwas unsicher wie einfach sich das Ganze gestalten würde. Doch wir waren begeistert von dem guten öffentlichen Transportsystem und der Organisation vor Ort.
