Von Santa Marta aus fuhren wir nach Palomino, eine kleine Backpakerstadt direkt an der Karibikküste. Hier genossen wir ein paar Tage die Sonne mit Swimmingpool und Cocktails (3 Caipi für 4 Euro o.O).
Als wir genug entspannt hatten, war es Zeit für ein Tubing auf dem Palomino River. Dafür ließen wir uns ziemlich abenteuerlich mit Motorrädern an den Anfang eines Dschungeltreks fahren.
Mit alten Traktorschläuchen (umfunktioniert zu Schwimmringen) auf dem Rücken ging es anschließend mit einem Guide durch den Dschungel – vorbei an Eingeborenendörfern, bunten Pflanzen und Vögeln.
Oben angekommen paddelten wir zur Flussmitte und ließen uns zwei Stunden durch den Dschungel treiben. Einfach genial :)
